Our purpose and strategy

Connect for impact

Our purpose defines who we are and how we interact with each other, our clients and society at large. To make an impact that matters means that we need to connect across Deloitte, engage with (business) partners in ecosystems, listen to what society tells us, and use those ideas to propel us further ahead on our purpose journey. Simply put: We need to ‘Connect for Impact’.

Our strategy

Our strategy defines our priorities and ambitions for the medium-term. Closely linked to our purpose, and taking into account our rapidly changing business environment, our strategy provides guidance to our leadership and our professionals in how to become future proof and purpose led. 

Our progress

During the first full year of our strategy execution, we have made good progress in reaching our objectives by 2023 or sooner where possible. Moreover, throughout 2020/2021, our strategy has proven to be COVID-19 proof. Lessons learned

Outlook

Predicting the future can be tricky. Nonetheless, our experiences from last year, the pace of economic recovery, and the wave of technological and digital investments by our clients, strengthen our positive outlook for the year that lies ahead.
